The support app is Developit's own package, downloaded directly from Splashtop's EU server. It runs right away, no installation needed.
How is the remote session opened?
- Download and open the app. It is usually in your Downloads folder. The app runs right away, no installation needed.
- Read out the code. The app shows a nine-digit code. Tell it to us on the phone.
- We take care of the rest. You see everything that is done on your computer, and you can close the connection at any time.
When the support session is over, close the app. After that, no one can connect to your computer until you start the app again and give permission yourself.
Only download remote support when you have called us yourself or agreed on it with us.
Internet speed test
Is the connection slow?
Measure speed and latency right in the browser and copy the result into your support request. It tells us right away whether the problem is the connection or something else.
