What data we process

This website is a static presentation site. It does not collect data through forms and does not store personal data about visitors in its own systems.

When you contact us, your data is processed as follows:

• The contact form opens in the Microsoft Forms service. The information requested on the form is stored in our Microsoft 365 environment and is used only for responding to your enquiry.
• Appointment booking is done in the Microsoft Bookings service. The booking details (name, contact details, time) are stored in our calendar for handling the booking.
• Email and phone: your message and contact details exist only in the email or telephone system they arrive in. They are used for responding to your enquiry.
• Remote support is established with the Splashtop remote support app (EU server) only at your initiative. The connection is session-specific: when the session ends, access to your computer ends. We keep only a daily count of installer downloads.
• The website health check stores the checked domain, the time of the check and the score in our own system (Cloudflare, EU). The checked address is a company's domain, not your personal data. If you order the report by email, your address is used only to send the report, and a copy of the report goes to us at creative@developit.fi. Your email address is not stored separately.
• The email protection test stores the tested domain, the time of the test, the recognised email service and the score in our own system (Cloudflare, EU). The test reads only public DNS records and sends no email. Ordering the report works as in the health check: your address is used only to send the report, and a copy comes to us.
• The domain lookup stores the looked-up domain, the time and the registry status in our own system (Cloudflare, EU). The lookup reads public records and asks the registry whether the name is taken; holder details are not shown. If you order a domain, the contact details you give (name, company, email, phone, message) are sent by email to us at tuki@developit.fi and as a confirmation to you. They are used to handle the order and are not stored separately.
• The AI assessment is calculated in your browser, and answers are not stored. If you ask for the report by email, it is sent only to you. If you send the assessment to us, the answers, your contact details (name, company, email, phone) and the cover note go by email to tuki@developit.fi and are used only to get in touch. We keep only daily counts: assessments started, results shown and submissions, plus answer distributions per question without contact details or identifiers.
• The scam test and the speed test run in your browser, and individual results are not stored. We keep only anonymous daily counts: tests started and completed, the scam test's score distribution and the speed test's download size class (under 10, 10–100 or over 100 Mbit/s). No one can be identified from these, and exact measurements are not sent to us.

You will not be added to a mailing list, and your data will not be disclosed to third parties for marketing.

Cookies and visitor analytics

The website does not use cookies. Visitor analytics is done with the Cloudflare Web Analytics service, which works without cookies and does not identify individual visitors.

The website’s fonts, images and videos are served from our own service provider (Cloudflare), not from external services. Your IP address does not end up with a third party when you open a page.

Where the data is located

The website’s files are hosted by Cloudflare and delivered to you from Cloudflare’s nearest data centre. From Finland, that is in practice Helsinki or Stockholm. The site uses no external services other than Cloudflare’s own: visitor analytics (Web Analytics) and video (Stream) process your IP address within Cloudflare’s service, and a GDPR-compliant data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. The data from contact requests and bookings is processed in our Microsoft 365 environment, whose data is located in the EU.

Your rights

You have the right:

• to know what data about you is processed
• to request rectification or erasure of the data
• to restrict or object to the processing
• to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman)
