Accessibility statement
This statement concerns the website developit.fi. IT Group Finland Oy (Developit) wants the site to be usable by everyone regardless of sight, hearing, motor skills or the device used. The site is not within the scope of Finland’s Digital Services Act accessibility requirements, because it is a company website rather than a consumer service. We publish the statement anyway, because we want to show what accessibility means in practice.
Target level and status
The site is designed and built to level AA of the WCAG 2.1 guidelines, and the new AA criteria of WCAG 2.2 (including minimum target size and focus visibility) have been checked. Known shortcomings are listed below. Beyond them, the site meets the requirements as far as automated and manual review has shown.
How accessibility is checked
- Every release runs an automated check (axe-core) on all pages in both light and dark themes, plus keyboard tests: skip link, dialog focus trapping and Escape, 200 percent zoom.
- A supplementary review covers heading hierarchy, landmarks, text alternatives for images, link texts, target sizes, reflow at 320 pixels, increased text spacing, respect for reduced motion and focus remaining visible below the fixed header.
- Colour contrasts were calculated to at least AA level in both themes when the palette was designed, and print and forced colours modes are checked separately.

Known shortcomings
The review on 7 September 2026 found no shortcomings against WCAG 2.1 level AA. One limitation is worth knowing: the Finnish captions of the customer videos on the references page are part of the video image (open captions), so they cannot be turned off, and their size or colour cannot be changed.
